Transport World Africa
Efficient management of transport resources and reduced congestion

Transport World Africa (TWA) focuses on improving the transportation of people and goods throughout the continent.
It examines best practices and modes of transport to maximise efficiency and to reduce congestion.

TWA categorises passenger and cargo transport and explores the congested state of our roads, ports and airports, while simultaneously seeking alternatives to the mainstream means currently in use. The alleviation of congestion is a prime focuses of TWA, as it is negatively affecting South Africa’s economic growth. The editorial team seeks solutions and debates feasible alternatives.

Editorial content includes the debates and investigations of academics and industry experts, regarding government’s master plans.
Green footprint, an exciting sectional addition to TWA, looks at methods of limiting the impact of transport on our environment.

In order to gather up-to-date news and information, the editorial team remains in close contact with the relevant associations and NGOs, including the Road Freight Association, Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport of South Africa, RailRoad Association, International Air Transport Association, the Southern African Railways Association, the South African Express Parcel Association, the Professional Society for Supply Chain Management and the Association of Freight Forwarders, among others.
